What General Pest Control Covers

Last updated: October 2026

Kentucky Pest Solutions provides the pest services listed in your estimate, service plan, or written work order. General Pest Control may include inspection of accessible areas, treatment for identified common pests, and practical instructions for reducing conditions that attract them.

The exact pests, locations, methods, and follow-up visits depend on the agreement for your property. Bed bugs, termites, wildlife, major infestations, structural repairs, and work requiring specialized equipment are not included unless separately agreed in writing. We do not promise to find pests in inaccessible areas or treat pests outside the agreed scope.

All pesticide work must follow product labels and directions under FIFRA and applicable Kentucky pesticide rules, including KRS Chapter 217B and 302 KAR Chapter 29. Handling and disposal also follow applicable requirements, including 40 CFR Parts 165 and 262 and OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200.

Kentucky Department of Agriculture requirements apply. Local rules, including Louisville Metro property maintenance and nuisance ordinances, may also apply where relevant.

Booking, Changing, or Cancelling a Visit

Appointments are arranged by phone, email, or another method confirmed by Kentucky Pest Solutions. We will communicate the expected service date or arrival window and any preparation instructions that apply.

Please make sure an adult can provide access, secure pets as requested, and tell us about relevant conditions at the property before treatment. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change a visit; any cancellation charge or notice requirement will be stated in your estimate, service plan, or booking confirmation, rather than assumed here.

If weather, safety concerns, access problems, or other conditions prevent the planned work, we may need to reschedule and will notify you. We will not add materially different work or charges without your approval.

A scope change means a change to the agreed pests, treatment areas, or work requested. We will explain the change and its cost, if any, and obtain approval before proceeding.

Estimates, Charges, and When to Pay

An estimate describes the work and price Kentucky Pest Solutions expects for the conditions reported or observed. It is based on the information available at the time and may need revision if an inspection reveals different pests, access limits, or a larger area of activity.

We will explain any proposed change and obtain your approval before doing work outside the agreed scope. An estimate is not a guarantee that hidden conditions have been identified or that pests will not return.

Your written estimate, service plan, invoice, or booking confirmation will state the applicable price and payment timing. Unless that document says otherwise, payment is due as shown on the invoice.

You are responsible for charges you approved, including separately agreed work. If you have a question about an amount, contact us promptly so we can review the estimate and service record.

No price, financing option, or payment term is created by these general terms unless it is confirmed in writing.

What to Expect After Treatment

Kentucky Pest Solutions will perform the agreed work with reasonable care and in accordance with applicable pesticide label directions and licensing requirements. These terms do not create a blanket warranty, fixed coverage period, or promise that pests will never return. Any retreatment offer, warranty period, covered pest, or other service commitment applies only if it is specifically stated in your written estimate, service plan, or other written agreement.

If pest activity continues after a visit, contact us and describe what you are seeing, where it occurs, and when it began. We can review the service record and explain whether the issue falls within any written coverage or requires a separate estimate.

Coverage may not apply where the agreement’s stated conditions are not met, including when access or required preparation was not provided, the affected area was not included, or new activity comes from an untreated source. Do not rely on a verbal statement to change written warranty terms; ask us to confirm any commitment in writing.

Responsibility for Property and Treatment Risks

Please tell Kentucky Pest Solutions about known property damage, sensitive areas, occupants who may need special precautions, and conditions that could affect treatment. Follow all preparation and re-entry instructions we provide.

Pesticides will be used according to their labels and applicable law, including FIFRA, Kentucky Revised Statutes Chapter 217B, and 302 KAR Chapter 29. Relevant handling rules include 40 CFR Part 165 for pesticide containers and containment, 40 CFR Part 262 for hazardous waste generators, and OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200.

To the extent permitted by law, Kentucky Pest Solutions’ liability for a claim arising from the agreed service is limited to the amount paid for that service. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden conditions, activity outside the treated area, or results caused by circumstances beyond the agreed work.

Nothing in these terms limits responsibility where applicable law does not allow that limit. Local requirements, including Louisville Metro ordinances, apply only where relevant to the property and service.

Questions About These Service Terms

For questions about these terms, an estimate, or a scheduled service, contact Kentucky Pest Solutions at (877) 729-2528 or info@kentuckypestsolutions.top. Written correspondence may be sent to PNC Tower, 101 S 5th St, Louisville, KY.

Please include your name, service address, and a short description of your question so we can direct it to the right person. These contact details do not replace any notice method or deadline stated in a separate written agreement.

We may update these terms as our practices or legal requirements change. The version in effect when you approve a service will generally apply to that work, unless a later version is required by law or agreed in writing.

We will make updated terms available through our usual customer communication channels or provide them on request. A change to your service scope, price, or any written warranty must be confirmed separately; publishing revised terms alone does not approve additional work.
